Meet our Inclusion Networks

Ability aims to empower those with specific needs in the workplace. They welcome those with disabilities (including long-term mental health conditions), neurodiversity and caring responsibilities. They are also a network for allies, who are seeking ways to better support the Ability community and who see the value that these differences bring. Their vision is to embrace diversity to utilise difference for the benefit of all, and to have a workplace shaped to meet the needs of all our remarkable people.

Beta is for graduates, apprentices and other early career colleagues, and for those that wish to support younger colleagues in their careers. Their aim is to ensure Rolls-Royce SMR is fully welcoming and inclusive by educating on how we can better support early career colleagues; connecting and supporting younger colleagues; collaborating with colleagues of all ages to address age-related workplace issues; providing unique insights to help shape a more inclusive way of working; and by being a voice into the business to ensure representation of their members.

Genie is for gender inclusion and equity in the workplace. Whilst their primary focus is on supporting female colleagues, GENIE is proud to welcome everyone, regardless of gender, who shares their aim of making Rolls-Royce SMR fully inclusive for all. GENIE gives a voice to all colleagues and represents issues across the gender spectrum as they support and engage with colleagues at all levels with the aim of creating an even more gender-inclusive environment.

Pride is for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer (LGBTQ+) colleagues and their allies. They welcome everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, who shares their aim of making Rolls-Royce SMR fully inclusive for the LGBTQ+ community. They educate colleagues on how they can be allies to the LGBTQ+ community; connect and support LGBTQ+ colleagues to be their authentic selves; create psychologically safe spaces; provide unique insights to help shape a more inclusive way of working; and by being a voice into the business, ensure LGBTQ+ representation.

Reach is our Inclusion Network that supports those of different religions, ethnicities and cultural heritages, and their allies. Their purpose is to empower racial, ethnic, religious and cultural minorities within the business and to make Rolls-Royce SMR an inclusive environment for all. They achieve this through providing a safe space and collective voice within the business, raising the profile of minority groups through awareness initiatives, and supporting in the attraction of diverse talent to our company.

Sentinel is our Inclusion Network for Military Veterans, Reservists, Cadet Forces Volunteers, retired Emergency Services Personnel, and their families. They also welcome anyone who is an ally to these groups. They foster a supportive community to ensure the needs of our colleagues are met, and they are fully engaged in delivering on our Armed Forces Covenant pledges. Externally, Sentinel represent Rolls-Royce SMR on important dates, such as Remembrance Day.
