Sir Stephen brings a wealth of private sector and Government experience to his role as Chair of Rolls-Royce SMR.

Stephen was National Security Adviser from March 2021 to April 2022. Prior to this he was Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence from 2016-2021 and Permanent Secretary at the Department of Energy & Climate Change from 2013-2016.

Sir Stephen spent nine years at the Shareholder Executive, now UK Government Investments, where he was appointed Chief Executive in June 2007. He previously worked in investment banking and strategic consultancy. Stephen also sat on the board of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games and was a trustee of the Charities Aid Foundation.

Anna Mascolo is Executive Vice President, Low Carbon Solutions at Shell. In leading Shell Low Carbon Solutions, Anna builds on her expertise in the energy sector, bringing customers with the greatest decarbonisation challenges together with solutions and products that can help reduce and manage the carbon emissions of the energy they use.

A physicist by background, Anna began her Shell career in 2004 as part of Shell’s Integrated Gas business in Europe, bringing external experience of trading, origination and deal structuring from roles in BG, Enron, TXU, and BHP Billiton. She subsequently held roles in Lubricants, Trading & Supply and Shell Chemicals before joining Global Commercial in 2019 as President of Shell Aviation, launching the sustainable fuels offering and positioning Shell as a clear sectoral leader in decarbonisation.

Following that, Anna became Senior Vice President for Acquisition, Divestments and New Business Development in Shell’s Downstream business, leading the restructure of the Downstream portfolio. And, most recently, was Executive Vice President of Shell Emerging Energy Solutions, where she helped bring together Shell’s Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Storage, Nature-Based Solutions and Ventures businesses. Anna is a versatile, dynamic leader with an international perspective and world-leading experience in the energy sector. She thrives in meaningful roles where she can drive change by developing high-performing teams.

Anna is Shell’s representative on the CEO Board of the Hydrogen Council.

Tomas Pleskač graduated from the Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel’s University of Agriculture in Brno 1989. Later he completed an internationally accredited course at the Prague International School and received an MBA. Mr. Pleskač joined CEZ after a short working period in Komerční banka, a. s.

He started working for CEZ Group in 1994, as a Deputy Director of the Economy and Sales Department at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. Between 2004 and 2007 he was in charge of the CEZ Group integration project “Vision 2008” From 2006 he was the Division Distribution Chief Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors. He became a Division International Chief Officer (in January 2008) and Division Distribution and International Affairs Chief Officer (in April 2012). He was Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors (26 June 2017 - 31 December 2019). Since January 2016, he has been the Chief Renewables and Development Officer.

Dominic has recently been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer for Rolls-Royce to lead Group strategy. Previous to this role, as Services Director - Civil Aerospace, he was responsible for programme and services delivery to Rolls-Royce’s airline customers across all engines (including the Trent family), operational performance of the global MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) network, and leadership of the Civil Aerospace airline aftermarket P&L.

In previous roles, he has been Chief Customer Officer of Civil Aerospace with responsibility for leading sales of engines and services, marketing and customer service delivery in all airlines across the world, Director – Boeing Programmes where he led the Civil Aerospace engine programmes for all Boeing airplanes, and EVP Transmissions & Structures leading both a global design and make supply chain and Rolls-Royce manufacturing plants.

Dominic first joined Rolls-Royce as an undergraduate trainee in 1990. Dominic graduated in Engineering from Cambridge University.

Neil Fleming is the Rolls-Royce Group Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Director, based in London. He leads a team based in the UK and Germany with oversight of all M&A activity (including acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures) across the Group.

Neil joined Rolls-Royce on 1 October 2022 with nearly two decades of global experience in M&A, strategy and partnerships across multiple sectors including energy, infrastructure, and industrial technology. Neil has previously served on the board of directors for several companies in the UK and Europe.

Will is General Counsel - Corporate at Rolls-Royce plc and leads a number of Group teams, including Group Legal, Security & Resilience, ESG, Compliance, Data Privacy and Strategic Export Control.

Since joining Rolls-Royce in 2006, Will has acted as lead advisor on a number of complex international matters and group projects as well as leading on a number of business transformation and improvement projects. He was appointed to the Civil Aerospace leadership team in 2017 as Chief Counsel and led a global team of 160 specialising in law, compliance, risk and commercial transactions. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Will worked as an M&A lawyer in an international law firm and as UK counsel for a large European FMCG business.

Will is a qualified Solicitor with 23 years’ practice experience. He is an active member of the UK in-house legal community regularly speaking on matters of importance to the legal profession and has published articles in key legal publications.

Sean is a Director responsible for the investment portfolio of BNF Capital, a London based family office with significant investments in the energy sector. He is also the founder and CIO of Tees River Limited managing a dedicated Uranium fund and a Critical Resources fund. Sean has 21 years experience in the financial sector.

Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Thani is the Head of Industrials and Materials at Qatar Investment Authority.

He joined QIA in May 2007 and has held various leadership roles such as the Head of Business Development Department, and member of Mergers and Acquisitions Department where he executed deals such as Harrods, Costa Smeralda, & Iberdrolla.

Sheikh Faisal is also the Chairman of Qatar Holding Smeralda Investment and a Board Member in Wessal Capital (Morocco).

He has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration & Finance from California State University Dominguez Hills and he was enrolled in Harvard Leadership Program in 2014 /2015.

As senior vice president, Commercialisation and Development, Jorge Acevedo is responsible for driving growth across Constellation’s customer and generation businesses through the development and deployment of innovative clean energy and technology solutions.

He is also responsible for Constellation’s R&D, venture investing, market development and commercial and generation strategy functions. Jorge oversees Constellation’s growth businesses including Constellation Energy Services, Constellation Navigator and Arise and Constellation’s broker channel. Jorge also sits on the boards of Constellation’s Technology Ventures portfolio companies.

Prior to his current role, Jorge was senior vice president, Generation Innovation and Strategy, and responsible for the strategic direction of Constellation’s commercial business, as well as its overall innovation strategy.

Jorge also served as senior vice president for Constellation’s Retail Strategy. In that role, he oversaw retail pricing, analytics, sales strategy and acquisitions, sales operations and dedicated support for Constellation’s power and gas business.

Jorge joined Exelon in 2002 and served in various roles, including vice president of finance for Constellation, where he oversaw the wholesale trading and retail business segments, financial forecasting, project analysis, performance indicators and financial reporting.

Adam has spent nearly a decade in Rolls-Royce’s Defence business and played a pivotal role in the recent success of the business, most recently leading its global services operations.

In his previous role as Director of Strategy & Future Programmes, he was instrumental in the business securing strategically important long-term contracts with both the US Air Force and US Army.

Prior to Rolls-Royce, Adam worked within defence operations of Boeing. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, and served as an Armor Officer in the US Army.
