Senior Events Coordinator

£42,000 - £52,500 per annum plus benefits

We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Events Coordinator within our corporate affairs function who will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of stakeholder engagement events, ensuring they are effectively and professionally executed and support the delivery of our mission.
This role is crucial in promoting our business enhancing our presence on both national and international stages.
While this role sits within the corporate affairs function, you will engage across the wider business to support the effective delivery of all external events both in the UK and internationally
Day-to-day you can expect to be doing the following:
· Developing and managing a schedule of external events, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
· Coordinating and managing invitations for sponsorships, speaking engagements, and attendance at industry conferences and events.
· Managing the relationship with our suppliers and exhibition partners.
· Planning, coordinating, and managing Rolls-Royce SMR-led or attended events, ensuring they are high-quality, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.
· Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to understand and fulfil event requirements.
· Liaising with conference organisers and logistics providers
· Overseeing the budget for external events, ensuring cost-efficiency.
· Supporting the development and timely availability of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and promotional items.
· Building and maintaining relationships with external partners who can support RR SMR events.
· Managing exhibition assets for use at events.
· Providing guidance and support to team members in planning and delivering events, with potential occasional travel within the UK and overseas.

You should ideally have demonstrable experience in the following:
· Experience in conference and/or event organisation and delivery – including in an international context
· Effective planning, organisation and logistics management for events
· Interpersonal skills, it is essential that you are a top-class communicator with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels within our organisation and act as a representative of our organisation externally
· Excellent written and verbal skills with an eye for detail.
· Ability to deliver under pressure and to a deadline
Pay and Benefits
A salary between £40,000 - £52,000 is on offer along with a performance related bonus, very attractive pension scheme, and private medical insurance. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
