non UK customers as the business continues to grow.

Key outcomes in the role

  • Ensure the appropriate level of quality and governance is applied to Internal Hazards submissions.

  • Modelling and analysing the impact of internal hazards.

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. If you feel you meet 75% of the requirements for this role, we would love to hear from you.

Also, if you are considering a career move or a sector-jump, please get in touch, we welcome applications from people with transferable skills.

Key Selection Criteria

  • An understanding of the staged development of internal hazard cases in support of a developing design to meet UK regulatory expectations.
  • Knowledge of the types of internal hazards that could impact the safe operation of a complex facility, such as an operating Nuclear Power Plant, and in the derivation of withstand requirements.
  • Experience of the UK civil nuclear regulatory regime and in particular the UK regulator’s GDA process.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to represent the project both internally and externally.
  • A demonstrable ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with staff from all levels to tight deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

We anticipate a paying salary of between £40,000 - £60,000, a performance related bonus of up to x%, an attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
