Rolls-Royce SMR is a start-up joint special purpose vehicle (SPV) business, specifically created to design, construct and deliver a new fleet of Small Modular Reactors power plants that will be a critical and strategic player in the race to Net Zero carbon emissions globally. 

Morson have been tasked with engaging a Business Analyst to help support the definition and realisation of the strategic roadmap for the IT Services that this function will deliver over the lifecycle of the SMR programme. Over the coming years, this could be an internal user base of 3000 and external up to 40,000. 

  • Business Analysis: Investigate, analyse, visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts and make disciplined decisions based on available information.
  • Requirements definition and management: Identify, define and manage the objectives of the business and users. Specify requirements from a business and user perspective and facilitate the prioritisation of requirements to enable agreed changes to be implemented effectively.
  • Stakeholder relationship management: Identify and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and across the supply chain. Communicate with stakeholders clearly and regularly, clarifying mutual needs and commitments and consideration of impacts, whilst focusing on user needs.
  • Business improvement processes: Identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement, focusing on benefits. Drive the analysis, identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvements and efficiencies, thereby ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value from outcomes.
